Apr 25 – Chevron Gas at Koko Marina has changed its name to parent company, Texaco.

Apr 25 – The new owners of the Kahala Hotel are requesting the right to use public beaches in exchange for use of their equipment.  As it now stands, several structures are already built on State land and without proper permission.  [KITV]

Apr 25 – Senator Mazie Hirono pens an op-ed recalling her early days at Koko Head Elementary and how she — and other Hawaii residents — remain staunch and patriotic American citizens. [Philadelphia Tribune]
