It’s sheep milk. Thankfully I didn’t see that on the label when I bought it. I’m not a fan of chevre (French goat milk cheese) so I probably wouldn’t have purchased a sheep milk cheese. This organic feta under the Kirkland label is fantastic. It’s not at all like the American version of feta. Rather, it’s just a tad tangy and citrusy — a crumbly cheese with attitude.

If you’re looking for a quick and easy salad, cube some feta, open a can of corn and cut up some herbs. This picture shows corn, feta, chopped basil and rau ram, but you can pick other favorites like cilantro or mint.
