I’m redoing my seed collection. It’s gotten out of hand, and some seeds aren’t producing as many plants as before. This week I dropped off all of the individual labeled packets at the Niu Valley Freestore and I’m starting fresh. While I was going through the inventory, I found a couple of thought I’d give a try to. The Tongan Hibiscus, known for high calcium content, did quite well. We will have seedlings at the August 15 event. Tongan Hibiscus is also known as Bele Spinach and is quite popular in the South Pacific as a vegetable.
