The August exchange is August 15. It’s a bit earlier than usual, so I’ve started some seedlings. With any luck, we’ll have Red Rat’s Tail Radish. It’s my favorite type of radish to grow since you don’t harvest the root. You harvest the beans, of which it produces many. It’s also notoriously easy to grow and prolific. There will also be a number of houseplants and bromeliads. I’m still putting things into the ground so I’ll update my progress as I have time to do so.
For those planning to come, we hold these plant swaps on the Third Saturday of every month from 10am to 1pm right in front of Assagios and the waterfront at Koko Marina. It’s all in conjunction with 808 Craft and Gift Fairs, so if you visit there will be many booths to visit and lots of good old local kine fun.
