Hawaii Kai is home to a number of very good public schools.  Elementary schools include Koko Head Elementary, Kamiloiki Elementary and Hahaione Elementary.  The Middle School is Niu Valley and the High School is Kaiser.  Hahaione, Niu Valley and Kaiser offer a full K-12 International Baccalaureate program.  Nearby Aina Haina Elementary also feeds into Niu Valley Middle School.

UH-Manoa’s Music Department, 2411 Dole St., Jan. 10 and 17, 8:30 a.m. grades 3-12, 9:30 a.m. grades K-1, 10:30 a.m. grade 2, free. Students interested in joining Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus are welcome to participate in a full rehearsal and individual assessment. Arrive 20 minutes before rehearsal time to fill out application.
